Huon Art is a must see for those wishing to purchase Tasmanian art as we are the largest art gallery in the Huon Valley.
With over 100 paintings on display, we showcase works of Tasmanian artists from across the Huon Valley, The Channel, Hobart, Launceston and the Far North Coast.
The gallery is located in the picturesque town of Cygnet, a 50 minute drive from Hobart.
We carry landscape paintings of Tasmanian scenes in oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolours. We showcase some Tasmanian birds, quirky animals, floral artworks and urban spaces. Most pastels and watercolours are beautifully framed under art glass to stop fading and enhance the work by reducing reflections.

It helps Australian residents buy artworks created by Tasmanian artists with an interest free loan to be paid out monthly over 12 months. eg. For example – perhaps you want a painting which costs $6000 and cannot immediately pay that amount. But you can afford $500 per month. Or you could make a deposit and borrow the balance.

Huon Art provides each client with an invoice showing the image of the artwork purchased which is ‘proof of transaction’ and verifies the value of the artwork for insurance purposes.
