I completed a Visual Arts degree in Western Australia and moved to Tasmania in 2017. Since then I have been using oil paint along with ink, oil pastels and charcoal to describe the environs of this amazing area.
The scenery here frequently takes my breath away and I am driven to recreate that response on canvas. In my studio I have a photo of myself in kindergarten standing at an easel completely immersed in creating an image. I feel that it visibly illustrates the intensity that I want to convey in my paintings.
