Stuart’s paintings capture the vast array of moods Tasmania offers on its coastal plains and rugged interior. The East and South West Coasts being a particular passion.
Stuart works in acrylics and paints predominately abstract land and seascapes. The works are usually on a larger scale with canvasses typically 100 cm x 150 to 200 cm.
Stuart is one of Tasmania’s most recognised artists. His work has been well received by the public and the wider arts community, having been recognised by several significant art prizes and commissions.
