Warren’s love affair with painting and drawing began as a small boy exposed to the enchanted natural beauty of Tasmania’s diverse and dynamic vistas, his vivid imagination and eye drawn to the myriad shapes, forms and changing light of the seasons.
Warren has developed his own re interpretation of that beauty and its captivating mystery, expressing it on canvas in a visceral, exaggerated and dynamic celebration of colour and form indicative of the subjects as he sees them.
Warren has created a global following and reputation for creating large scale artworks, and after thirty five years of extensive exhibiting and commissioning he has returned home to Tasmania, re inspired to explore further the visual majesty of this unique island where it all began for him.
