Sharyn specialises in outstanding hand drawn artworks created completely in coloured pencils. Taking her inspiration from our endlessly beautiful country, she creates pieces featuring our unique and quirky wildlife with each work featuring her bright and bold “signature” leafwork . They can, at times, take many hundreds of hours to produce but as they say, all good things are worth waiting for.
Sharyn has happily worked in a number of mediums over the years including oils, watercolours, acrylics and pen but has settled into a niche that she finds brings her the most satisfaction and enjoyment, allowing her to capture the finest details of the flora and fauna she loves to draw.
Sharyn believes that art is not only an expression of what one sees but more what one feels. Her dream is to bring our magnificent Australian wildlife to the rest of the world through stunning artwork that captures the essence, personality and character of each animal she draws.
